Inna purchased two tickets to Tango Lovers in San Francisco's Herbst Theater. It was our first time at Herbst Theater. It's quite a small venue, and we had excellent seats with a clear stage view.
The program began with a jet landing in Buenos Aires, accompanied by the orchestra and two singers, Guillermo Fernandez and Maria de Los Angeles, singing a duet.
Something was wrong with the singing as it sounded harsh with some reverb. The amplification may need to be corrected.
I really liked the Tango Dancers. They looked and danced well. I was not as pleased with the band as something was off.
The repertoire included a couple of famous American tunes, including All That Jazz from the Broadway Musical Chicago and Who Wants to Live Forever from Queen.

Tango Lovers Review
Highlights
- The Dancers were excellent, dancing in sync and changing outfits for each number.
Lowlights
- The musicians and the singers did not sound well to me (perhaps due to the poor amplification)
