Before Alex's return to Boston (for his sophomore semester at Northeastern), Inna made dinner reservations at Naschmarkt in Campbell, CA. Naschmarkt is one of my favorite Austrian restaurants, and I was pleased to dine there again.
We were seated outside on a hot summer day. A band played in the distance, and lots of people walked around. It was nice to spend the evening outdoors.
After looking at the dinner menu, we ordered the following items:
- Appetizers: Cheese Pretzel, Butter Lettuce Salad
- Alex: Austrian Soda (Elderflower), Lamb Shoulder
- Boris: Reissdorf Kolsch (500ml) Beer, Hungarian Goulash
- Inna: Austrian Soda (Lingonberry), Lamb Shoulder
- Dessert: Schoko Kuchen
We really enjoyed our Bavarian Cheese Pretzel and the fresh Butter Lettuce Salad. The fresh bread was also delicious, and we enjoyed dipping the pretzel and bread into the cheese spread.
The Reissdorf Kolsch German beer was acceptable, but I prefer draft beer on tap.
I really liked the Hungarian Goulash. It was so delicious! Both Alex and Inna liked their Lamb dish, too. The Schoko Kuchen dessert was also quite delicious!
