Before seeing Theater You, Inna, Lucy, Andrei, and I decided to eat dinner at Cascal in Mountain View.
It's been a long since I last visited Cascal, and I was surprised that Castro Street was closed to traffic. It was full of shops and vendors selling varieties of food and wine.
After arriving at 5:00pm, we were seated and had to wait a bit for service. Eventually, we ordered the following items to share:
- Lucy and Andrei
- Drinks:
- House Margarita
- Sparkling Sangria
- Tapas:
- Peruvian Ceviche
- Paella Marinera
- Corn Poblano
- Boris and Inna
- Drinks:
- Pomeberry Mojito
- Red Sangria
- Tapas:
- Sizzling Shrimp
- Croquetas de Jamon
- Gazpacho
- Mushroom Empanadas
We really enjoyed all of the dishes. I really liked my Red Sangria (though the one in El Pinton in Seville is much better). I also liked the Mushroom Empanadas and Sizzling Shrimp. The Corn Poblano was also quite delicious.
Service could have been faster and more attentive.
