Demoing Wilson Clash 100 Tennis Racket

In the past few weeks, I started to feel pain in my right tennis elbow, probably due to playing daily on the AVAC ball machine, using a very stiff racket - a 2015 Babolat Puredrive Play with RPM Blast 16G poly tennis strings. It's a very stiff racket and string combination that led to the development of my tennis elbow.

As I researched ways to relieve my tennis elbow, I came upon suggestions of using a softer racket with softer strings, like the Wilson Clash 100. I demoed the Wilson Clash v1 from Tennis Anywhere in Los Gatos ($30 to try various rackets) and liked the combination of a soft racket with soft multifilament strings.

I decided to purchase the beautiful blue version of the racket - the Wilson Clash 100 v2 Roland Garros edition, and have it strung with Wilson Sensation 16 strings. Although the multifilament is less durable than poly strings like RPM Blast, they will reduce my occurrences of tennis elbow.

To strengthen some of my arm muscles and reduce the recurrence of tennis elbow, I am doing exercises with FitBeast Flex Tennis Elbow Bar and 3 set Flexible Resistance Bars.
