After reviewing all the universities where he was admitted, Alex enrolled at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Alex decided on Northeastern due to its prestige in Computer Science, its widely-known Co-Op program, and its location in Boston. If he gets off the waitlist, Alex may also consider UC San Diego, UC Irvine, or Carnegie Mellon University.
Alex's first semester of college will be spent in London, England, with Northeastern's NU. In Program, followed by a spring semester in Boston and a co-op in the Spring of his sophomore year.
Initially, Alex was admitted into the Computer Engineering/Computer Science program at Northeastern. Still, to enroll in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences in London, he needed to change his major from Computer Engineering (College of Engineering) to Computer Science. This took a few emails and phone calls to Northeastern to achieve.
The selection of classes in London is limited to the following courses:
Alex must take Discrete Structures and Fundamentals of Computer Science with a Lab in London.
