For pre-Valentine's Day, I reserved an 8:00pm dinner at The Plumed Horse - a 1-star Michelin-rated restaurant in Saratoga.
We have always enjoyed eating at The Plumed Horse - even more than at the 3 Michelin Star-rated Manresa in downtown Los Gatos.
The Chef's Tasting Menu consisted of the following delicacies:
Of all the dishes, the Braised Beef was the most delicious entree.
We really enjoyed our dinner and hope to be back again!

- Roasted Brussel Sprouts - parsnip, grapes, lemon verbena streusel
- Davenport Abalone - spot prawn, matsutake mushroom, shiso, shrimp chip
- Black Pepper and Parmesan Souffle
- Black Cod - endive marmalade, tofu, pickled chanterelles
- Duck Breast - fermented celery root, Castelvetrano olive, semolina gnocchi
- Braised Beef Daube - herbed pasta, sweetbreads, fig, gastrique
- Comte Reserve - onion peach jam, confit pepper, micro salad
- Banana Mousse - banana cake, brown butter walnut, sesame powder, chilled Kyoto coffee
After dinner, we were offered delicious chocolates from Chocolaterie by Angelica, which were exquisite.
